Why safety training fails — and what VR changes
Classroom safety training has a structural problem: the thing you are teaching cannot be demonstrated. Nobody sets a workshop on fire to show what smoke does to visibility, and nobody drops a load to show why you stand clear. So the training becomes a slideshow, the participants sign the list, and six months later the procedure is gone.
VR removes that constraint. The hazard is real enough to trigger a reaction and completely safe. The participant does not watch the correct procedure — they perform it, get it wrong, and get another attempt. That is the difference between recognising a rule and having done the thing.

Alarm, decision to fight or evacuate, choice of extinguisher, escape route, assembly point. Smoke reduces visibility exactly as it would in the building.
After an accident
Securing the scene, calling for help, first response, and reporting. The sequence matters more than speed — and the report shows whether the participant got it right.

What reporting do we get?
