Collaborating with Colgate-Palmolive allowed us to create a training application that significantly simplifies and streamlines the process of training new employees in the assembly and disassembly of pumps with single or double sealing. Thanks to our VR technology application, training at Colgate-Palmolive has been conducted safely, accurately, and in a user-friendly manner since 2021.

Project Background

Colgate-Palmolive approached us with the challenge of effectively and engagingly training new employees in the assembly and disassembly of pumps with single or double sealing. This process is complex and requires precision, which can be challenging for new employees. Our goal was to create an application that enables practical and interactive training by virtually replicating the pump assembly and disassembly process.

Creation Process

1. Requirements Analysis and Process Understanding:

We conducted a thorough analysis of Colgate-Palmolive’s requirements and understood the process of assembling and disassembling pumps with single or double sealing. We identified the key elements, stages, and steps that needed to be included in the training application.

2. Designing a Virtual Environment:

Based on the gathered information and understanding of the process, we created a virtual environment that reflects realistic working conditions and allows interaction with the pump. We paid attention to detailed replication of each element and mechanism of the pump to facilitate practical learning for users.

3. Interactivity and Instructions:

In the application, we provided interactive elements that enable users to practically assemble and disassemble the pump. We also added detailed step-by-step instructions that are displayed in real-time so that training participants can follow the process and perform tasks correctly.

4. Testing and Refinement:

We conducted numerous tests, both internally and at Colgate-Palmolive’s environment, to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the training application. Based on collected feedback and suggestions, we made necessary modifications to ensure an optimal training experience.

Thanks to our VR training application, Colgate-Palmolive has been able to conduct virtual training since 2021, making the pump assembly and disassembly process more attractive, safe, and accessible for new employees.
