Project Background

Traditional business fairs often come with time and geographical limitations, making it difficult for many people to access information about products and services offered by different companies. In response to these challenges, we created Virtual Trade Fairs, which allow participation in virtual trade fair spaces on the internet, including the Virtual Catalogue of the Metal Processing Cluster (KOM).

The Virtual Catalogue of the Metal Processing Cluster is an e-space that enables a closer look at the offers and products of KOM member companies and their strategic partners. Thanks to this innovative web application, users can see what individual companies produce, the services they provide, and their unique features and added values.

Creation Process

1. Analysis of Needs and Expectations: A detailed analysis of the needs and expectations of both KOM member companies and potential users was conducted to understand their requirements for the Virtual Catalogue. Key features and capabilities that the WebGL 2.0-based application should offer were determined.

2. User Interface Design: Based on the analysis of needs and expectations, an intuitive user interface was developed, allowing easy navigation through the virtual catalogue, browsing company offers, and obtaining detailed information about products and services.

3. Technological Implementation: The development team used WebGL 2.0 technology to create a virtual space where users can freely explore the offers and products of KOM member companies. Interactive elements such as descriptions, photos, and videos were introduced to ensure users fully understand the companies’ offerings.

4. Content Integration: KOM member companies provided information, photos, videos, and other content that was integrated into the application, allowing users to fully familiarize themselves with their offerings.

5. Testing and Optimization: Detailed testing of the application was conducted to ensure it operates smoothly and provides excellent user experiences. Optimizations were made for performance speed and responsiveness to ensure the best quality of service.
Thanks to the Virtual Catalogue of the Metal Processing Cluster, users can easily and conveniently familiarize themselves with the offers and products of KOM member companies and strategic partners without the need to physically participate in traditional fairs. This innovative solution saves time and resources while providing access to a wide range of business offers.
